A Global Citizen with a Bohemian Spirit.
I’m Nisha Harichandran, and at heart, I’m a happy-go-lucky free spirit – a happy bohemian, as I like to call it.
As a lawyer who worked internationally for 15 years, I navigated diverse cultures and business environments, dealing with everything from everyday interactions to high-stakes negotiations. I learned to embrace change by staying true to myself, staying curious, and building real connections – from ethical leadership to the power of kindness. I know firsthand that taking control of your life takes time and support. I’ve seen what it’s like to face change head-on, both the good and the bad.
My Approach to Change and Life, like a Caterpillar to a Butterfly
Over time, I have realised that change is not something to fear but a chance to grow. Above all, understanding yourself and your emotions during any change is crucial.
My work and love of travel have taken me to many wonderful places, where I have explored different cultures and foods. This has broadened my perspective and enriched my life. I now celebrate not one but several New Years! Meeting people from all over has also grown my network of friends. It’s beautiful to realise that despite our differences, we are not that different. Without a doubt, we all want similar things—to live joyfully, to love, and to feel seen.
From Law to Coaching
From law, I moved into communications, leading global internal communications and various diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. I understand that a strong company culture is key to a positive employee experience and organisational success. As I wrote about other colleagues’ stories, I realised the importance of telling our own stories and shaping our narratives to transform our experiences—how we feel and approach everyday situations. This led me to coaching.
With joy at the heart of my work, I’m passionate about helping others who feel stuck, sidelined, or just tired of waiting to take a more active role in creating a life they want and feel appreciated, valued, and celebrated. Through our work together, we explore how to balance and protect our energy (or “body battery”) so you can navigate life and its incredible twists and turns with more self-awareness, resilience, and confidence.
I continue to hone my craft and be of service to myself and my clients.
