Take a Little Time to Smile 😊

A smile is a superpower within each of us that can help us turn a good, meh, or challenging moment into a better one. It plays a key part in building a positive mindset, self-acceptance, and joy. The smile is like the sun that promises us hope to rise each day, offering a new beginning. It’s an opportunity to reset, reframe, and reorganise my thoughts.

Meeting @lara__rebecca, sharing a conversation, and being invited to speak on her Keep Smiling Podcast was truly awesome! Within her beautiful smile, there’s a phenomenal person who shares her lived experience with mental health and eating disorders to raise awareness, educate, and inspire.

My goal as a Joy Coach is to have more conversations about joy and infuse these interactions with a sense of purpose so we can enrich our lives while creating waves of positivity and connection in our communities. In our conversation, we explore the value of honouring negative emotions instead of suppressing them, share insights on reflective practices, and discuss the value of self-acceptance to re-evaluate past experiences as a tool for growth.
