Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrator (MAICSA) Annual Conference 2023 – Revitalizing Governance Towards Sustainability
The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrator (MAICSA) Annual Conference 2023 was a resounding success, with over 800 attendees attending the first hybrid conference. I spoke about the power of transformation and Ms Lee Mi Ryoung FCIS (CS)CGP) General Counsel and Group Company Secretary, Legal And Secretarial Division, Velesto Energy Berhad, moderated the session. The title of my talk was “Be the Change: Inspiring Transformation in Yourself and Others” and I explored the transformative changes that happen beneath the surface when we make a change by taking a step within. I shared about the four stages of change and invited participants to partake in an interactive exercise to explore the feeling of stepping out of their comfort zones. I also discussed the importance of self-exploration to reconnect with who you are and gain practical insights to approach and sustain the journey of change with kindness, compassion, and gratitude.
