Entrepreneur ~ What’s your definition?
“An entrepreneur is a creator. It is an individual who is ready to take things on and make it happen, whilst having fun.”
Characteristic of an Entrepreneur – Your top 3
Vision ~ This is the map, leading the path to where you want to go and what you want to achieve, says Bianca. Resilience ~ The dream you want to build on is the biggest inspiration and Bianca refers to resilience as the ‘the trainer or coach’. “Resilience makes you expand, fall, and push on. Resilience building is key to survive the harsh winters in business”, Bianca adds. Love the process ~ Many times, we are so focused on the destination that the whole journey of getting there is overlooked. Bianca reminds us to look at this part closely, to notice the growth and the potential in yourself for “success without fulfilment is the ultimate failure”.
Entrepreneurship style – brave, determined, global thinker, and compassionate for people
Bianca emphasises the ‘soft touch or kindness’ for people as one of her success traits. She says, “people make the companies grow and develop.”. Being kind means, she is gentle with herself. This enables her to focus on progress in her journey of growth and personal development.
Successful habits create success
A healthy balance of the mind and body rooted in a consistent daily routine is fundamental for success. Bianca starts her morning with meditation and journaling and enjoys a daily dose of sports; kickboxing, running, or time at the gym. “Surround yourself with determined and beautiful people who are on a similar journey,” says Bianca. She takes this practice quite seriously and filters out contacts, who are not aligned with her purpose.
What’s the best advice you have received?
“It doesn’t become easier, you become stronger. The only thing staying in the way is yourself. Work on yourself first. Then, work on your business.”
How do you pick yourself up from a not-so-great day?
“I take a break and journal to brainstorm what is really bothering me. Other times, I head to the gym and the workout reminds me to push beyond my physical limits, and that gives me energy and mental strength to get back into action.”
What would you say to someone reading this?
“It’s your journey, make sure you decide for yourself. Not the society, not your family, not your fears and limitations. Choose that daily.”
What’s one word that inspires you?
“Forward”
